turning 21: part unewatching the sun set from the top of the space needle. the surrounding area epitomises my idea of an ideal date, what with the carousel, ferris wheel, arcade, hot dog stand, coffee joint, although yes it does seem like a notion successfully perpetuated by hollywood.
dinner at buca di beppo, a popular restaurant nearby, with suz, tony & jorms. pizza con pollo, linguine with mussels and shrimp, a sampling of buca appetisers (crabcakes, shrimp and calamari) and quattro al forno (not pictured, but it had canneloni, ravioli and stuffed shell). also...i was surprised with a godiva chocolate cheesecake from the cheesecake factory :) the waiter brought out tall red candles with candlesticks that were useful props for taking silly photos. then there was riesling...one day to my 21st birthday and the waiter didn't check ID. hahaha.
good times indeed.
